The importance of QoL assessment in psoriasis

In this clinical audit, you will conduct a review of patients previously diagnosed with mild to moderate psoriasis, and identify factors that will guide your next management steps.


Details

At the end of this program you will be able to:

  • Use validated, guidelines-based tools to assess and record psoriasis severity.
  • Assess risk factors contributing to psoriasis and any comorbid diseases.
  • Apply the Australasian College Of Dermatologists (ACD) algorithm to identify patients with severe psoriasis for referral to a dermatologist.
  • Evaluate established and newer psoriasis treatments to meet the needs of individual patients
  • Implement a review system for current psoriasis patients to assess if and when referral is required.
